About the Lighthouse-Duke AWARD
The Lighthouse Award is presented each year to recognize the career accomplishments and community service of a senior public relations professional who is a member of Greater Cleveland PRSA. In 2024, the award was expanded to include members of the Akron/Canton Chapter of PRSA and renamed in honor of Tom Duke.

About Tom Duke
Tom Duke, APR, Fellow PRSA who passed away in 2017 at the age of 84, was the founding president of the Akron Area PRSA chapter whose lifetime of service was reflected in numerous awards of recognition like the Distinguished Public Relations Practitioner Award, the Cleveland PRSA Lighthouse Award, and the PRSA East Central District Platinum Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
